Jump$tart Coalition is committed to helping you be more
effective, efficient and powerful.

there is a lot going on. The updates and opportunities

APRIL FINANCIAL LITERACY COMMUNITY MEETINGS
The California Jump$tart Coalition's networking meetings
in San Francisco and Los Angeles are filling up fast.
They will be our biggest meetings ever, and there will
be updates and opportunities to network with a broad cross
section of the financial literacy community. Please sign

Financial Literacy Summit, May 1
This free, two-hour summit will be simulcast live over
the Internet and available online after the event as
streaming video. On May 1, 2007, from 12-2 PM Central
Standard Time, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and
VISA USA will bring together educators, policy makers,
and members of the non-profit and private sectors to
debate whether or not the federal government should
require basic national financial literacy standards

JA's Biz Kid$
JA Worldwide™ (Junior Achievement) has partnered
with the Emmy award-winning producers of Bill Nye the
Science Guy and America's Credit Unions to produce JA's
Biz Kid$, a fun, 30-minute PBS television series that
premieres this month. A JA's Biz Kid$ customized curriculum,
currently being developed by JA Worldwide, will be made
available for elementary and middle-school classroom
integration and to parents for home use.
